Official Registry
The Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists is required by law to maintain and up-to-date public registry of all Registered Counselling Therapists in the province of Nova Scotia.
The purpose of this registry is to provide the public with a way to search the registration status and discipline record of all Counselling Therapists registered with the College. Only those names listed in this registry are licensed to call themselves Registered Counselling Therapists (RCT) or Registered Counselling Therapist-Candidates (RCT-C) and to practice “counselling therapy” in the province of Nova Scota.
The Official Registry is not intended to assist the public in accessing counselling therapy services. If you are seeking a licensed counselling therapist, please refer to the Counsellor Directory located under the Public tab of the website.
Members of the public are encouraged to protect their safety by ensuring that they receive counselling therapy services only from a licensed professional.
