COMMUNITY VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
As the public-interest regulator of Counselling Therapy in Nova Scotia, the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists (NSCCT) is seeking Community Members who wish to share their experience, expertise, and perspective on one of the College’s statutory committees.
Community Members of our statutory committees play a crucial role in ensuring accountability, transparency, and representation of public interests in regulating the practice of counselling therapy. Community Members participate in committee meetings that address registration decisions and the professional conduct of licensed counselling therapists. Community Members provide feedback from the general public’s perspective to ensure that public concerns are heard and considered in the College’s regulatory processes.
